Job summary

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Laundry Service is offering an exciting Administration Assistant opportunity within the Llansamlet Swansea Laundry Service. The Administration Assistant will provide a secretarial and administrative support for the Llansamlet Laundry Service and will provide remote support for other sites within the All Wales Laundry Service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Provide a secretarial and administrative support for the Laundry Service and will have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing demands and interruptions.

Provide a receptionist service for the department, dealing effectively and diplomatically with incoming calls and visitors to the department, being the first point of contact. Detailed and accurate message taking is essential and ensuring that urgent matters are attended to in a timely, appropriate and confidential manner.

Work competently with IT systems including Bundle, dispatch notes and timesheets. and to keep up to date with the latest software and technological developments of the service. To ensure accurate recording of linen Production is kept via dispatch notes and use relevant software.
