Job summary

The role will initially be based at Companies House, until we relocate to our new base early 2024 to CP2, Welsh Government Offices, King Edward VII Avenue Cardiff CF10 3NQ.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership in the role as Processing & Professional Service Team Leader. Primary Care Services currently operates from Cardiff and supports both office based and home working. The post holder must have knowledge in all Prescribing Services rules and regulations and processing knowledge at Process Flexible.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be performing in a target driven environment working to tight deadlines on a daily basis. The Processing and Professional Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a group of Process Flexible staff. The post holder will plan the use of available resource, develop and maintain the efficient operation of the service through the responsive management of technical queries, audits and quality checking of internal and external customers and colleagues. Timely and accurate monthly schedules for all contractors will need to be produced in compliance with our Service level Agreement, guided by our departmental procedures, policies and standards, whilst maintaining the Drug Maintenace application to ensure accuracy of drug details and payments to contractors
