Clinical Negligence Lawyer

We are seeking to recruit experienced qualified lawyers (solicitor / CILEx Chartered Legal Executive Litigator & Advocate / Barrister) in the fields of public inquiries, personal injury and/or clinical negligence to join our growing teams. Your role willinitially be based at Companies House, until we relocate to our new base in early 2024 to CP2, Welsh Government Offices, King Edward VII Avenue Cardiff CF10 3NQ

Main duties of the job
Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims on behalf of the NHS in Wales. Advising and supporting clients in respect of the UK Covid19 Public Inquiry. This is a varied role which will allow the post holder to develop a wide range of skills and be at the forefront of this fast changing area of law. We pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients and the quality of our service. The post holder will be expected to build strong client relationships quickly and to be able to work at pace. The successful candidate will be able to act in a minimally supervised role building on previous experience as a qualified lawyer. Supervision will be provided for all high value complex claims to allow the lawyer to gain the necessary experience in this area of work
