Job summary
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring professional to launch their careers within the Culture and People Experience Team. Under the mentorship of Leads in the Culture and People Experience Team, you will immerse yourself in a variety of tasks gaining invaluable hands-on experience in both cloud and on-premises environments. The journey will enhance your administrative, personal and professional growth, within People and Culture.
As an Apprentice, you will embark on a detailed development plan aimed at supporting you in unlocking your full potential in Culture and People, which includes a combination of both theoretical study and on the job development. In addition to time set aside to work on personal study or college hours, day to day development will include preparing documents, project planning, coordination including but not limited to meetings, events and activities. In addition, there will be an opportunity to develop creative tools, intranet pages and other communications to enhance the work around People and Culture.
Main duties of the job
As the Culture and People Experience Apprentice, a core responsibility will be to act as the primary point of contact for support for key stakeholders, providing efficient and high-quality administrative support within the Culture and People Experience Team. This includes responding to queries, updating action point and responding with various forms of communication, in an efficient and timely manner. Have the ability to assess and escalate matters to Culture and People staff when necessary. You will also provide an accurate and efficient administration service by handling incoming/outgoing, emails, typing, diary maintenance, arranging meetings and minute-taking.
This primarily supports the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Lead to deliver on objectives for Culture and People Experience and includes support for the People and Culture Lead. One of the core functions will be follow up and updates on action plans, audits, sourcing online tools and training, planning events, activities initiatives. The apprentice will work collaboratively with colleagues to support prioritisation of work, and optimising time.
Fixed term apprenticeship for 24 months.
