Job summary
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Primary Care Services Project Support Officer to provide project and organisational support to the Primary Care Planning and Coordination Team.
As a Project Support Officer you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of project objectives through a diverse range of activities. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of project management processes and coordinating business management tasks and activities on behalf of the project team.
Main duties of the job
As Project Support Officer, you will:
o Autonomously manage elements of specific projects as delegated.
o Ensure that standard project management methodologies are applied to successfully deliver projects.
o Prepare documentation and track project plans and benefits.

- Educated to degree level in an associated professional field (or equivalent qualification / experience).
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects
Desirable
- Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the NHS, other healthcare systems, or the health sector, including regional or national variations.

- Working knowledge of maintaining appropriate IT systems to enable effective planning and scheduling, advising on data to ensure adequate resources are in place for successful project delivery.
