Job summary
This role will be perfect for individuals who wish to pursue a career as a translator. You will work under the guidance and supervision of the Translation Manager, undertaking a variety of work relating to various subjects, while expanding your experience and learning about formal and informal translation. As part of the apprenticeship, you will follow a detailed development plan to ensure that you maximise your potential and become a capable translator. We are looking for individuals who have a natural ability with language, which will develop over time so that the post holder is able to produce more complex translations at a high standard.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking applications from individuals who are interested in undertaking a Translation Apprentice role as part of the Translation Team at DHCW. You will join a thriving department and will learn the nuances of the craft of translation, and ensure that DHCW provides a fully bilingual service.
This post is Fixed Term for 24 months due to the needs of the service.
