Main duties of the job
As a Data Analyst Level 2, you will play a crucial role in collecting, organising, and analysing data to provide valuable business insights. You will work with cutting-edge tools and techniques to visualise data, identify trends, and support decision-making processes. Your contributions will directly impact our projects, products, and services, helping us to deliver high-quality outcomes.
This post is fixed term/secondment until 31 March 2026 due to secondment cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales. - Qualification in databases and operating systems (or good working knowledge).

- Applied knowledge of visualisation software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, dashboards for multiple stakeholders

- Experience of designing and delivering data and performance reporting solutions, by examining process flows and business user needs, to support improvements in operational performance based on robust evidence and business analysis best practice.
- Some experience of design, investigating, analysing, interpreting, visualising and articulating multiple data streams in order to consolidate into a centralised, prioritised and modern reporting function.
- Some experience of using data and business analysis software/tools
