Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Test Analyst to join our Community Applications team working on major National software applications for the NHS in Wales.
You will be working on systems such as: the Welsh Immunisation System (WIS), supporting the COVID-19 vaccination programme; and the Children and Young Persons Integrated System (CYPrIS), the National Child Health System for Wales.
Main duties of the job
Working in a challenging environment, you will face a variety of competing priorities that will require a flexible and imaginative approach combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
You will develop, maintain and execute test strategies/plans for the products which you are assigned to.
You will write and execute test scripts.
You will lead a small number or Test Analysts on all aspects of Testing, whilst working as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Degree in information and IT related subject or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- ISTQB Expert in Software Testing or equivalent experience.

- Experience of writing and implementing test strategies and plans for complex environments.
- Experience in the creation of phase specific test plans.
