Main duties of the job
The post holder will take ownership of all aspects of the business, have a positive "can do" attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience within the pharmacy services.
Key responsibilities are:-
To ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of the outpatient pharmacy services at CFH and RFH , in accordance with national and local standards
To develop a high quality and timely outpatient service for patients
To fulfil the statutory responsibilities as required by the GPhC, DH and other regulators
To provide efficient management and administration of the business
To hold accountability for the ordering and management of all medicines within the out-patient pharmacies at CFH and RFH
To support the development of the wholly owned subsidiary model and advise on the potential benefits, risks and practical steps if agreed by the Board
To provide leadership and act as a role model for the staff of RFL pharmacies
To report progress against KPIs to the Board of Directors
To lead on the development and implementation of a five year strategy for pharmacy and annual plan for delivery each year
To be a member of the appropriate Boards and committees for pharmacy services
