Job summary
The post holder will provide support to the outpatient pharmacies at the Hampstead and Chase Farm sites contributing to pharmacy efficiencies, patient safety and Trust values. In collaboration with the Trust Pharmacy IT team, you will be responsible for and lead the on-going development and provision of an integrated, effective, and efficient Pharmacy information and analysis service. This supports digital projects, performance, quality, and organisation accountability ensuring the pharmacy department meets it's mandatory, statutory, and contractual information requirements.
The Trust has undertaken an ambitious Digital transformation programme to upgrade its infrastructure to meet innovative solutions, National and local Information Governance requirements which is aligned with our departmental digital healthcare vision/road map and strategy.
The pharmacy IT team is passionate about innovation and technology and as advocates, aims to embed best practice governance in the use of any technology. Most importantly the team aims to make digitally enabled healthcare mainstream in the department by fostering a digital first culture. It also has overall responsibility for engaging and promoting training and ownership with pharmacy staff in the use of digital technology using feedback from users and supporting the capture of benefits.
Main duties of the job
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager to join the outpatient pharmacy team at Royal Free London. You will be employed by Royal Free Dispensary Services a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. You will be the IM&T lead for our outpatient pharmacies leading multiple innovative digital projects.
You will need to be organised and well-motivated and have excellent communication and people skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
