Triage, Duty & Onboarding Clinician (Neurodevelopmental Services)

The closing date is 29 May 2026

Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and confident clinician to join XYLA Neurodevelopmental Services as a Triage, Duty & Onboarding Clinician. This is a pivotal clinical leadership and operational interface role, sitting at the heart of service safety, clinical quality, and workforce readiness across our Neurodevelopmental pathways.

You will act as a trusted clinical escalation point, translating clinical governance requirements into day-to-day practice and helping to maintain service continuity during periods of pressure or change.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will

  • Review referrals for ADHD, ASD, and wider ND pathways

  • Identify safeguarding concerns, clinical risk, or diagnostic complexity early

  • Provide day-to-day clinical troubleshooting and duty cover

  • Respond to urgent clinician queries (e.g. medication pathways, ADOS processes, report queries)
