As the PCN Service Lead, you will review current rotas and processes and identify how these can be streamlined and improved. Ensure the workforce is correctly scheduled, initiating any necessary action in order to maintain service requirements.

The post holder is expected to work accurately and under pressure with the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload and that of the department and anticipate and resolve problems expediently.

You will ensure that services are staffed appropriately. Co-ordinate rota changes at all levels and ensure minimal impact on care and the first point of contact for all day-to-day issues affective staff cover.

You will be required to manage your own workload, use own initiative, communicate effectively, escalating issues as appropriate.

Support the roll out of new initiatives/changes and cascade key information and deal with any complex enquiries, escalating where necessary.

You will support the Operations and Business Manager in the delivery of local projects.

Bradford City Primary Care Network 4 (PCN4) is a network of Bradford City Practices working collaboratively across the network area to look after the health of our local population. The PCN which comprises of 5 local Practices with a total population of around 44,000 registered patients.

To produce regular reports (as required) on compliance and procedures.

Comply with audit recommendations and risk assessment recommendations to make the workplace and work practice safer.

Continually assess and evaluate systems recommending changes and improvements.

Support the team in relation to the recruitment and induction of staff as required.

Where locum coverage is required co-ordinate, the locum booking process ensuring that identified parties are contacted in a timely manner.

Check all locum agency time sheets to ensure agreed rates and hours are charged and any discrepancies referred to the relevant personnel.

The post holder will be required to undertake mandatory training and is responsible for keeping staff training records up to date.

Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations at all time

The post holder will be required to work at any location where the PCN provides services.

Be aware of and abide by all information governance requirements in respect of data protection and confidentiality.
