Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing:

In this autonomous, clinically advanced role, youll be at the frontline of patient triage making fast, informed decisions that directly influence outcomes.

Every shift, youll:

  • Assess, diagnose, treat, or refer patients with a wide range of conditions.
  • Lead on safe, effective, evidence based care in a triage setting.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic investigations.
  • Liaise with specialist services and ensure appropriate handovers/referrals.
  • Maintain meticulous records in line with governance and best practice.
  • Stay at the forefront of evidence-based practice and CPD.

What Were Looking For:

  • Professional Registration (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).
  • Independent Prescriber (non-medical prescribing certification).
  • Postgraduate Education: Minimum of two Level 7 modules, including Clinical Assessment Skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in autonomous clinical decision making.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse, high performing team.
  • Confidence, compassion, and clarity under pressure.

  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision, delegation and co-ordination of staff making the best use of their abilities as appropriate
  • To participate in the appraisal process for themselves and others as appropriate
  • To identify, report and address poor performance issues
  • To diffuse challenging behavior, ensuring that the situation is managed in a sensitive way
