What your typical day looks like:

• Delivering large-scale integration and/or automation products via sprints
• Responding to and completing ad-hoc queries
• Line-manage a team of Data Engineers
• Continuous improvement within the Data Engineering team, and the wider Data Services department
• Response and completion of ad-hoc requests
• Delivery of integration and automation projects via agile methodology

Essential Criteria for the Lead Data Engineer:

• Degree level or equivalent education
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant business intelligence role

• Previous experience of mining data from multiple systems
• Working with complex API endpoints, focussing on efficient and timely data access
• Able to lead a team of data engineers, managing workload and priorities to ensure business needs are met
