As a key member of the DHU 111 Senior Management Team, the NHS 111 Operational Performance Manager will oversee operational teams at the Derby contact centre. This role involves leading and managing a team of managers and leaders that deliver NHS 111 services across the East Midlands. This role will see you play a pivotal role in enhancing patient experience, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Main duties of the job

A typical day will see you:

  • Lead and direct performance management processes and analysis for establishing and maintaining our exceedingly high level of performance.
  • Lead the continual quality and efficiency improvement and innovation in service delivery processes.
  • Support the development of strategic projects, implementing necessary changes to facilitate company growth.
  • Ensure local site accountability for NHS 111 Services, complying with national and contractual standards.
  • Work collaboratively to build and manage a dynamic, motivated, and well-trained team.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of workforce plans for the NHS 111 service.
  • Lead proactive service planning to manage impacts on the service and support local Disaster Recovery and Business Contingency plans.
  • Assist in project management, design, development, and implementation of new NHS 111 Services.
  • Manage relationships and work closely with the resource planning team to ensure appropriate staffing levels.

To be a successful Operational Performance Manager youll need:

  • Contact centre experience at a strategic level.
  • Demonstrable management and leadership experience.
  • Experience of various contact centre and telephony technologies.
  • A deep understanding of KPI focused performance management.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Level Operational Performance Manager. You will provide overall operational and performance management of the NHS 111 Services across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Baines, Swindon & Wiltshire and will help to lead the development and delivery of high quality services within the companys strategic vision. Key responsibilities include adherence to contractual and regulatory performance and quality standards, making improvements to patient experience, service quality, and efficiency.

To lead and direct performance management processes and analysis that enables excellent performance to be established and maintained.

Someone with commitment to excellent patient care and services in the health sector.

To support development of strategic projects with input and implementation of necessary changes to support the growth of the company.
