North West Surrey Integrated Care Services (NICS) Ltd are looking for a well-organised, motivated candidate to join our friendly team.
1 year fixed term maternity cover working 30 hours per week, working 0900-1500 Monday to Friday office based. There may be some out of hours to cover shifts evenings/weekends.
The UTC Senior Administrator provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative functions, supporting clinical and management teams, and maintaining accurate patient and service records. The post holder plays a key role in preparing reports, managing correspondence, and ensuring that data and documentation are handled efficiently and confidentially. They will act as a central point of contact for staff, patients, and external partners, supporting effective communication across the service. The role also involves assisting with workforce planning, rota management, and performance monitoring to help deliver a safe, high-quality, and responsive patient service. A proactive, organised, and compassionate approach is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Main duties of the job

- Record patients details, summary of symptoms and priority of visit, i.e. routine, urgent or emergency.
- Book patients into the NICS patient system
- Support with training and provide updates to the Reception Team.
- Attend UTC operational meetings and provide operational updates.
- Support and implement new processes and procedures cascaded from the Senior Management Team ensuring the Reception team are aware and confident in all aspects.
- Report any service failures to the Operations Managers
- Report and investigate any relevant UTC incidents on Radar and process accordingly.
- Support the NICS senior Management team with any administrative tasks and other clerical work.

co-ordinate the operational running of the Urgent Treatment Centre.
Operationally you will report to both Head of Operations.
