NHS Blood and Transplant

Resolution Service Coordinator

The closing date is 06 April 2026

Job summary

In this role, you will support the Head of FTSU (Freedom to Speak Up) and Resolution Service to keep our resolution processes running smoothly and on time.

You will be the central point of contact for the team, helping colleagues across NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) get the right information quickly, and handling sensitive enquiries with care and discretion.

From managing diaries and organising meetings to improving documents and tracking actions, your work will help leaders focus on what matters: delivering safe, high-quality services for donors, patients and colleagues.

If you are organised, calm under pressure and enjoy making things easier for others, this is a great chance to contribute, learn and progress in a supportive national organisation.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide comprehensive virtual office management and administrative support to the Head of FTSU & Resolution Service.
  • To provide a comprehensive administrative service, acting as a central source of communication between the Manager and Senior Managers in the Directorate and other Directorates and with agencies/contacts external to the organisation.
  • To ensure the smooth running of Resolution processes and the timely prioritisation of all administrative duties.
  • To act as a communication channel between the manager, department/team, other departments and external agencies.
You will be required to undertake occasional travel to other NHSBT sites and external venues, staying overnight if necessary (with appropriate prior notice)
