At NHSBT, every call you take and every task you complete helps save or improve lives. Were looking for organised, confident communicators - especially those with experience in busy admin or call centre environments - to join our Hub Operations team. Main duties of the job

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating - Handle incoming and outgoing calls with clinical teams, labs, and transplant centres staff both nationally and internationally, in a clear and professional manner.
  • Recording information relating to organ offering on national IT systems quickly and accurately.
  • Coordinate logistics, including arranging transport for organs and specialist teams.
  • Coordinate with transplant centres in relation to registration of urgent patients awaiting transplantation, capturing and recording transplant outcome information and removing patients from the waiting list following transplantation.
  • Coordinate with research studies around placings organs for research where they have been deemed unsuitable for transplantation.
  • Acting as the onsite emergency contact during out of office hours for the Organ Donation and Transplantation teams.

You will be required to take part in a rota to support 24/7 working. Shifts include day, night, weekend and bank holiday. You will receive notice in advance of the shifts and on-call to be covered.
