Job summary

We are looking to recruit to this new post of Senior Management Assistant within the Property function. The postholder will provide high-level administrative and operational support across the estate. The role will support the lease management of existing properties and new acquisitions, work closely with third-party property consultants on rent reviews and lease renewals, and provide administrative support to the Estates Strategy project as required. The postholder will also offer wider support to the Estates Senior Management Team, including providing annual leave cover for the Associate Director and Head of Operations Senior Assistants, and supporting the Associate Directors Management Assistant with additional administrative tasks for the wider finance directorate.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will oversee the administrative and invoicing activity within the Property Team and providing senior PA support to members of the Senior Management Team as required. The Property function operates nationally within NHSBTs Finance Directorate. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing relationships between NHSBT and commercial landlords on all estate matters. Overseeing NHSBTs extensive and diverse UK-wide property portfolio. Financial management of invocing and Purchase Order processes Working with lawyers and property agents on legal transactions relating to the acquisition, release or modification of property titles (freehold and leasehold). Supporting national projects led by the Head of Strategy, Legal and Property to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations. Managing property services provided to internal customers. Overseeing contract management. Acting as a key interface between NHSBT, the wider NHS, UK Blood Services and other stakeholders. Helping maintain the robust administrative infrastructure required for effective service delivery. Willingness and ability to travel and spend time away from base when required (with appropriate notice).
