Job summary
Very often the warehouse team are the first point of delivery for products and equipment going into our NHSBT consumable supply chain.
Working as part of a small team you will play a key role in ensuring we maintain the very highest standard of product acceptance and help ensure that the safe selection, storage and delivery of products will directly contribute to the saving and improving of patients lives.
We will provide you with an extensive induction and training programme and ongoing development to support you in your role and achieving your career ambitions.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, 08:00am 16:00pm Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will perform all warehouse activities as required safely, accurately and professionally. Your day to day responsibilities will include:-
- Completing paper-based documentation to confirm delivery of the Stock and Non-Stock products
- Loading and unloading pallet stock onto the vehicle safely using forklift truck equipment and manually
- Picking and Packing orders to ensure safe transportation
- Using NHSBTs Warehouse Management System (WMS) to confirm picks and book in deliveries Undertaking daily stock replenishment
