This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, like MuleSof, contributing to systems that support organ and tissue donation and transplantation across the UK. Youll help modernise legacy systems, manage servers both on-premises and in Azure cloud and contribute to DevOps practices. Main duties of the job
You will develop and deploy high-quality information systems, and applications using approved technologies. Your aim will be to produce and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for NHSBT applications.
As a Senior Systems Developer, you will support strategic software development aligned with NHSBTs values and goals and ensure robust disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested. You will also be researching emerging technologies and bringing forward ideas that drive innovation whilst maintaining and improving existing applications through stakeholder engagement and workshops. This will also involve collaborating with suppliers to ensure technology choices align with NHSBTs strategic aims and assisting in the procurement and implementation of third-party systems.
You will also provide expert advice and support to the Systems Development and Integration Team, whilst promoting analytical skills and mentoring others across NHSBT, whilst working closely with the Business Intelligence and Data Management teams to deliver technical solutions.
