This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn hands-on skills in healthcare and take their first steps into a professional career with the NHS.

Youll be fully trained in how to take blood from our donors, and youll be their first point of care during their time with us.

Youll also make sure we keep accurate records of donor sessions, while managing the safe handling of blood products, needles and other medical equipment.

As part of a true multi-disciplinary team, youll work variable hours and days including evenings, weekends and bank holidays - without night shifts.

You will be working on a shift basis but, the normal hours for this role are 3days per week/ 6days per fortnight. Early shifts start at 08:00 AM and finish 17:00 PM. Late shifts start at 10:30 AM and finish 19:30 PM, this will be 8.33 hour days.

Youll also be working alongside medical professionals, which means youll discover more autonomy and responsibility than equivalent roles elsewhere in the NHS.

  • Hold a full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
