The British Bone Marrow Registry (currently undergoing a name change to the NHS Stem Cell Donor Registry) is seeking a Business Support Manager, dedicated to continuous improvement, to join our team. Main duties of the job

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of all business management for the Bristish Bone Marrow Registry (BBMR) function. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring that the appropriate data is available, analysed and presented to support business decision making, forging the gap between financial and business management. Managing and delivering a variety of projects, focusing on continuous improvement to release capacity and initiatives to deliver process improvements to benefit end users and BBMR colleagues. Taking a key role in managing complex and influential relationships, where understanding organisational/functional dynamics, networks of influence and current priorities are essential Directing the function to achieve its challenging key performance indicators and donor panel growth targets and ultimately ensure a positive donor experience and overall improved efficiency/productivity Working across organisational boundaries/functions and with other organisations Supervising, developing and assuming full line management responsibility for the Donor Retention Officer. Deputising for the BBMR Operations & Planning Manager when required You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice.
