Job summary
The Insight, Strategy and Innovation team is currently the team is based in Tooting in a lively office and consists of a Head of Insight, Strategy and Innovation, along with an Insight Manager and Research manager reporting to the head. Reporting to the Insight Manager and Market Research Manager are two Insight Analysts and a Market Research Analyst.
You will undertake an extensive induction and training programme and receive ongoing development to support you in your role and in achieving your future career ambitions.
The Insight Analyst role is varied one; there is work that relies on your data extraction and manipulation skills with opportunities for writing code. On the creative side there is scope for creating dashboards and infographics. The work is varied and can involve profiling and segmenting donors, evaluating campaigns, predicting the impact of future events on blood stocks or answering wicked questions.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Implementing a data research and analytics programme in one of the following areas: campaign evaluation, blood donor potential, data modelling
- Providing information to inform marketing activity, optimise campaigns, refine targeting and understand donor and session dynamics
- Using data analysis, interpretation, and modelling to deliver insights that enable Donor Management and the wider Blood Supply directorate to optimise and improve donor facing activities.
You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice
