Job summary
This is your chance to join a forward-thinking national team of quality experts that provides a specialised support service to our internal NHSBT customers in the form of QA Direct. Youll be a primary point of contact for a wide range of staff within NHSBT, demonstrating your tact and initiative as you respond to and resolve their queries. Youll call on your proven MS Office and IT skills too, as you update document and event management quality records, maintain national and departmental databases and send e-mails to other departments. Equally at home communicating in person and in writing with various grades of staff, youll deliver training in document management procedures, contribute at QA team meetings and work closely QA Direct team members based at other sites.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be required to: Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance Manager - Service Delivery and other senior QA staff, organising meetings, minute taking, producing reports, logging events within the quality management system software. Work with other QA administrators to provide a collaborative and consistent support network in relation to quality processes. Manage our Document Control Systems, including monitoring the quality and content of documents. Respond to queries from Department Managers and other QA staff and Managers. Act as a communication link between internal customers and members of the QA Directorate Team. Train staff at all levels in use and understanding of the Document Control Systems. You will be required to undertake occasional travel to any NHSBT sites to meet the requirements of the post (notice will be given).
