Job summary

You will play an integral role in supporting our people to save and improve more lives. This is a great opportunity for a passionate individual with the skills and experience to develop and lead the implementation of our D&I agenda. You will join a busy team at exciting time for NHS Blood and Transplant, as we move towards implementing our intentionally inclusive programme Diversity and Inclusion is integral to everything we do, its vital that we continue to build trusted relationships with all our colleagues across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilites will include: Setting the direction for the team as well as Directorates, ensuring there is a clear scope for the work, prioritise and align resources to deliver the D&I agenda. You will ensure that appropriate expertise is drawn upon where needed. Ensuring that links are made with the context of the wider health system, and across the organisation. Providing leadership in applying structured problem-solving techniques, ensure that sound conclusions are drawn, and that a wider range of options are considered and prioritised. Overseeing large D&I programmes of delivery across the organisation, ensuring specific workstreams and priorities are delivered on time and on target Working with senior management teams and staff networks, and trade unions to build consensus on our long term strategic priorities and ambition Lead and manage complex change, engaging, empowering and motivating people to contribute and support delivery
