Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to become our first ServiceNow Knowledge Manager to make a tangible difference to our organisation. You will be the subject matter expert, the go-to person, the expert ensuring our people have access to the most accurate up to date knowledge at the touch of a button. You will use your people skills to encourage, coach and educate knowledge contributors to improve, capture and reuse content. The more information that is accessible, the more efficient the organisation becomes. You will be helping to increase efficiency in peoples roles, provide shareable knowledge and enhance job satisfaction. You will lead on the structuring, improving, capturing and reusing of knowledge to help save and improve peoples lives.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for owning the knowledge base including but not limited to, Digital, Data and Technology Services, and other stakeholders Knowledge, ensuring its accuracy, feedback and reporting is maintained. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the DDTS content held in NHSBT approved document control systems ensuring others produce and review content. Delivering the Service Operations Strategy to NHSBT and leading the development, documentation, implementation and ongoing management of Self-Service tools. Ensuring all new implementations have addressed self-service and that knowledge is captured. Producing information for the balanced scorecard, by analysis of Knowledge and Self-Service data and report to the wider NHSBT and customers. Promoting knowledge-sharing through operational business processes and systems. Monitoring and evaluates knowledge sharing initiatives Managing reviews of the benefits and value of knowledge management Identifying and recommending improvements You will be required to travel and spend time away from base occasionally, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice
