Job summary
Recruitment jobs dont often come with the opportunity to save and improve lives. Our team find the people that keeps NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) moving, providing vital services to the NHS and patients across the country. We are on a journey to transform recruitment, so you will have a terrific opportunity to make an impact. This is a 12-month assignment due to maternity leave, offering several exciting challenges, including launching our new careers website, expanding our social media presence, and deploying our employer branding all supporting the promotion of diversity and inclusion.
You will have a proven track record of delivery in recruitment. You will be an expert in talent attraction, with experience of creatively using a wide range of channels to connect with talent specifically in the UK market, including social media. You will have built and run initiatives at scale, demonstrating the ability to co-ordinate activity and work with stakeholders across the organisation. You will be able to analyse information and use it to make decisions, as well as tracking the outputs of attraction initiatives.
Whilst public sector experience is not mandatory, you will need to demonstrate the ability and motivation to understand and adapt to the NHS and its values, including the importance of diversity and inclusion. We are a small team, so you must be ready to be proactive, take responsibility, and gets things done with limited resources.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will lead on and be the expert in all recruitment related attraction and social media channels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, providing expert advice and input
- Leading the design, input, maintenance and evaluation of social media channels and building campaigns
- Leading on the development and maintenance of the careers website to promote NHSBT as an employer of choice
- Providing advice, training and support to members of the recruitment team on campaign promotion
- Stay abreast of digital trends, conducting analysis to inform strategic and creative development for content, ensuring we reach all communities
