Job summary
CHP is rolling out a new off-the-shelf estates room booking system for our tenants over the next 2 years. The implementation of the system will support strategic, effective, and efficient use of our bookable spaces and align with business strategy, ensuring our buildings are well utilised and productive. The senior project manager post holder will manage both Project and People and be comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels, in our organisation and within the wider NHS.
Main duties of the job
CHP is rolling out a new off-the-shelf estates room booking system for our tenants over the next 2 years. The implementation of the system will support strategic, effective, and efficient use of our bookable spaces and align with business strategy, ensuring our buildings are well utilised and productive. The senior project manager post holder will manage both Project and People and be comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels, in our organisation and within the wider NHS. The post holder will fully manage the detailed project delivery, including the project plan and all associated milestones. Key responsibilities will be: * Ownership of project delivery, associated project deliverables and milestones, including a series of phased roll-outs to various regional areas. * Execution and delivery of all project tasks, including effective management and delegation to the Project Coordinator. * Effective team working with the Digital Projects team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities are embedded. * Managing and reporting on risks, issues, and actions throughout the project. * Production and management of project communications, including a robust communications plan, to support both internal and external stakeholders. * Manage and lead, as required, on internal and external stakeholder engagement, being able to present at both a strategic and detailed level.
