- Fully qualified General Practitioner with current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Experience working in a primary care setting
- Ability to manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
- Experience using clinical IT systems and maintaining accurate medical records
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and clinical governance
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar GP role (e.g., salaried GP, locum GP)
- Interest or additional qualifications in a specialist area (e.g., dermatology, womens health, minor surgery)
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or supervising medical students or trainees
- Involvement in quality improvement initiatives, audits, or research

- MRCGP Competent in the provision of medical services, Excellent clinical and non-clinical problem solving skills. Able to work autonomously and within a multi disciplinary team, able to work under pressure and prioritise workload according to patient/service need. Excellent report writing skills. Excellent time management skills. Computer literate. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal Skills. Able to develop strong and effective working relationships. Understanding of current NHS environment. Awareness of current developments and initiatives in general medical practice. Sound knowledge of clinical governance and clinical audit. Sound understanding of QAIF policies and targets
