About Us:We are a friendly, supportive GP practice dedicated to providing high-quality patient care to our community. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our clinical team.

Role Overview:The successful candidate will provide a full range of nursing services to patients, working as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The role will include health promotion and treatment room duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide evidence-based nursing care, including wound care, dressings, immunisations, and cervical smears.

Women's Health

Support the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

Participate in health screening and health promotion activities.

Support QAIF targets and practice initiatives.

Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice protocols.

Work collaboratively with GPs, other nurses, and administrative staff.

Stock control and ordering.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (NMC Pin required).

Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting is desirable.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse with up-to-date NMC registration

Desirable

• Qualified in phlebotomy and cervical screening

General

Essential

• Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness.

Experience

Essential

• Experience working within a nursing team. Experience in dealing with the public/patients and competency in basic nursing duties.

Desirable

• Experience as working as a practice nurse. Experience of primary care.. Experience in Diabetes, wound care and immunisations.
