We are seeking an enthusiastic and committedSalaried General Practitionerto join our friendly, well-established GP practice located in a semi-rural setting on the border of England and Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who values high-quality, patient-centred care and wishes to work within a supportive, forward-thinking team.

Our practice serves a stable and diverse patient population and benefits from strong multidisciplinary team working, modern clinical systems, and a positive workplace culture. We welcome applications from newly qualified GPs as well as experienced clinicians.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality general medical services in line with NHS Wales, GMS contract and GMC standards.

  • Undertake face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations for acute, chronic and preventative care.

  • Manage patients with long-term conditions, promoting continuity of care in a semi-rural setting.

  • Carry out home visits where clinically appropriate.

  • Prescribe safely and cost-effectively in accordance with local and national guidelines.

  • Review and action clinical correspondence and investigation results in a timely manner.

  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team and attend practice meetings as required.

  • Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit, QOF and enhanced services.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to clinical governance, safeguarding and health and safety policies.

  • Engage in CPD, appraisal and revalidation in line with GMC requirements.
