We are recruiting a4-session (2-day) Salaried GPto join our well-organised, digitally progressive practice on the Swansea Waterfront, with an intended start of May 2026 (flexible by agreement).
We prioritise sustainable workload and protected GP time, offering structured sessions with built-in administrative time, a sensible duty system and minimal home visits (supported by our Cluster Paramedic service).

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will report to the Lead GP and Practice Manager and will be supported in maintaining appraisal and revalidation requirements.

We are a digitally progressive practice, using systems such as Accurx, AskMyGP with structured messaging, workflow-based correspondence management and AI-assisted transcription to streamline documentation. GP home visits are minimal and supported by our Cluster Paramedic service.

Prescribe safely and cost-effectively in line with local and national guidance
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records
Administrative Responsibilities
Review and action laboratory results, correspondence and electronic workflow tasks within allocated sessional time
Complete referrals, medical reports and other clinical documentation as required
Contribute to the safe and efficient management of clinical workload
Administrative time is built into sessional structure.
Clinical Governance & Professional Standards
Participate in clinical governance activities including audit, significant event analysis and quality improvement
Comply with GMC Good Medical Practice
Maintain inclusion on the NHS Wales Performers List
Participate in annual appraisal and revalidation
Support a culture of learning, safety and continuous improvement
