Main duties of the job
Applicants will need to have a keen eye for detail, ability to work to process, complete work efficiently, possess a good telephone manor, have good communication skills, be a team player who can also work well independently, to provide general assistance and support to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone

Mountain View Health Centre is a Surgery providing care for patients living in and around the Mayhill area of Swansea.
Our current medical team consists of 4 GPs, 1 Prescribing Pharmacist, 2 Practice Nurses and a HCSW

Job responsibilities
Acting on actioned tests results from GPs
Filing, scanning and retrieving paperwork
Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patients notes.
Coding information into the Practice clinical system within the patients medical records
Summarisation of incoming patient medical record notes
Processing and distributing incoming (and outgoing) mail
Forwarding patients medical records on to new registered GPs
Processing repeat prescriptions from the NHS Wales App in accordance with practice guidelines
Computer data entry processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures
Receive and make telephone calls as required
Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt appropriate delivery
Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Supervisor, Senior Management Team or Partners.
Receptionist duties during annual leave and sickness absence
Attend mandatory training required to fulfil role as a medical receptionist
