Job responsibilities

• Patient Consultations & Diagnosis:Assessing undifferentiated symptoms, providing diagnoses, and conducting physical examinations in person or by phone.

• Chronic Disease Management:Developing and managing long-term care plans for patients with conditions like diabetes, asthma, or heart disease.

• Preventive Care & Health Education:Promoting health through screening, immunisations, and lifestyle advice.

• Referrals & Coordination:Referring patients to hospital specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.

• Administrative & Clinical Tasks:Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records, signing, and managing repeat prescriptions, and ensuring legal compliance with health regulations.

• Home Visits:Visiting patients at home or in care homes when they are unable to travel to the surgery.
