Job responsibilities

The receptionist role comprises receiving and making telephone calls, booking patients in for appointments, completing administrative tasks as required, chaperoning GPs when required. We are a very busy practice, we have a practice list of over 11000 patients.

The practice team comprises of 5 GP partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 1 retainer GP, 3 Practice nurses and 2 HCAs. We are a teaching practice and have 2 GP registrars on a rotational basis.

Experience

Essential

• Previous experience of dealing with the general public or reception work.

Desirable

• Experience of working within primary or secondary care.
