Hourly Rate: £13.62

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Health Care Support Worker to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care in our busy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venepuncture (blood tests)

  • Administer certain immunisations in line with training

  • Record blood pressures and perform ECGs

  • Carry out dressings, wound swabs, and basic wound care

  • Review and record findings on diabetic foot checks

  • Conduct new patient health checks

  • Support with stock control and ensure clinical rooms are fully stocked and ready for use

About You:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare support role is essential

  • Trained in phlebotomy, BP monitoring, ECGs, and basic wound care

  • Competent in stock management and maintaining clinical supplies

  • Caring, compassionate, and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Main duties of the job

The daily tasks of this role will include,

  • Blood Pressure

  • Phlebotomy

  • ECG's

  • Simple wound management

  • Immunisations (in line with training)

  • Diabetic Foot Checks

  • New Patient Checks

  • Clinical room stock check and replenishment

  • Supporting the wider clinical team
