We are looking at recruiting an enthusiastic and highly motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking clinical team.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Practice Nurse currently working in General Practice.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has experience in chronic disease and case load management to include:

Diabetes

COPD

Asthma

Coronary Heart Disease

Atrial Fibrillation

Anticoagulation Monitoring as well as NOAC and DOAC Therapy

Cervical Cytology

Childhood Immunisations

Travel Immunisations

Vaccination Programme Training in Flu and Covid

Spirometry

Learning Disabilities

Job responsibilities

Hours of Post: 25 to 37.5 Hours Per Week

Hours of Work: Mon Fri between 8.00am & 6.30PM

Base: Shotton Lane Surgery

Hourly Rate: Dependent on Experience

Annual Leave: Negotiable

The successful candidate will hold a Registered General Nurse qualification and be registered with the NMC.

We have a fantastic supportive and friendly Clinical and Admin Team. There are three GP partners, one salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses, one HCAs and one practice Pharmacist.

Our clinical system is Emis

We have a list size of approximately 8400 patients.

We are part of a dynamic Cluster Network and have great working relationships with community and secondary teams, MDT and third sector collaboration working.

High QI, QAIF, LECES & Access Standards achievement.
