We are looking for an experienced and qualified dispensary team leader to work with our friendly, dispensing practice team.
Main duties of the job
- be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services or have an equivalent NPA pharmaceutical or dispensing qualification.
- be a good team player, coupled with the ability to work unsupervised.
- you should be self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
- be responsible for the effective day to day running of our three dispensaries (Llanberis, Llanrug & Deiniolen) providing a high-quality service to patients and the team.
- ensure medication is dispensed safely and timely, adhering to all legal requirements and SOPs, providing expert training and guidance to patients and staff.
- ensure current pricing and purchasing arrangements maximise dispensary income.
- Work closely with supporting practice manager and GP lead.
- Welsh speaking desirable.
