An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Practice Nurse to join our friendly & dynamic practice. The post is 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.
The post holder will be able to practice a range of clinical skills, developed through experience and training. They will undertake the delivery of nursing care in general practice as a self directing practitioner, working with the GP to meet the patients clinical needs, as appropriate.

Pen Y Cae Surgery is a well-establish practice founded in 2005 and is situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Blaenau Gwent, the birthplace of our NHS. We are an accredited GP training practice and established teaching practice for medical students from Cardiff Medical School. We offer a happy workplace where we operate in a supportive team we actually dont mind coming to work!
Our GP team is made up of 3.75 WTE with 7 Partners and 2 salaried GPs looking after 9000+ patients. Our GPs are fully supported by an exceptional nursing team comprising of a Practice Nurse, 2 Health Care Assistants and 2 phlebotomists as well as a practice-based pharmacist, an excellent management and admin team who focus on supporting patients and clinicians. We are dynamic, progressive, friendly and supportive practice who pride ourselves on high quality patient centred care and our involvement with our local neighbourhood care network.
