Hourly Rate: £11.80
28.5 hours a week
Managing patient database EMIS, Greeting and dealing with patients. Booking appointments. Completing patient tasks allocated to you. Please see attached job description for further information.
Working with an established team of receptionists with experience from 3 - 10 years service.
Hours:
Wednesday 8am - 6.30pm -1 hour lunch break
Thursday 8am - 6.30pm - 1 hour lunch break
Friday 8am - 6.30pm - 1 hour lunch break
Main duties of the job
Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointments system
Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional
Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
Taking messages and passing on information
Filing and retrieving paperwork
Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with Practice procedures
Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team member and associated healthcare agencies and provider
