PRACTICE NURSE PERMANENT POSTMeddygfa Llanberis
(to include branch sites Llanrug & Deiniolen)
16 hours per week, Mondays and Thursdays but this can be negotiated if different days are preferred.
Meddygfa Llanberis is looking to recruit a highly motivated Practice Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team.The ideal candidate would have experience of working in General Practice or Healthcare setting.
The successful candidate would be required to hold a Registered General Nurse qualification and have an active registration with the NMC, have excellent communications skills with an ability to prioritise your workload and be a Team player ready to support colleagues and continue to develop their skills by attending relevant training.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.The post is subject to references and a satisfactory DBS check.
Main duties of the job
The following Nursing skills are essential:- Cervical cytology- Immunisations and vaccinations- Wound care- Phlebotomy- ECGs
-cryotherapy
You will also have experience in chronic disease/case management including:- Asthma- COPD- Diabetes- Coronary Heart Disease- Anticoagulation monitoring (INR Star)
