Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team at Bron Derw Medical Centre. The post is for a General Practice Medical Receptionist.

Main duties of the job

General Practitioner Reception duties include: Telephone and Reception Desk duties, scanning, emailing, Econsult, prescriptions, test results, dealing with allied health professionals and third sector agencies. General admin duties. Full details can be found in post attached.

About us

We are a 3 GP partnership, supported by Practice Manager, 3 Salaried GP's, ANP/NP, Nursing team and Allied Health Professionals and Reception/Admin team. We are a purpose built Medical Centre in the Centre of Bangor, North Wales. Our current patient lists are 10,000.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working as a member of a team is essential, good communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a primary or secondary care setting desirable, but full training will be given.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE grade 1-C in English and Maths
  • IT and keyboard skills

Desirable

  • Additional qualifications you may hold.
