Job responsibilities

You will join a thriving and successful practice of just over 6,000 patients with 4 General Practitioners, Practice Pharmacist, Minor Illness Nurse and a full NHS complimentary team. We operate a GP telephone triage system and ASKMYGP online service.

Qualifications

Essential

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GP Register
• Certificate of Completion of Training
• CCT in General Practice / Certificate confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration -CEGPR or equivalent
• Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible
• Evidence of continuous professional development

Desirable

• MRCGP
• Academic excellence eg prizes, merits, distinctions etc

Experience

Essential

• Vocational GP training
• Experience in general practice and working in multi-disciplinary team

Desirable

• Eligibility for minor surgery, obstetrics, family planning accreditation

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to take independent clinical decisions when necessary and
• to seek advice from senior doctors as appropriate
