Northolt Primary Care Network (PCN) is seeking a forward-thinking PCN Manager to lead on the delivery of integrated, high-quality healthcare across our six GP practices, serving a diverse population of over 40,000 patients.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the PCN Clinical Director, member practices, and local system partners to drive operational excellence, ensure strategic alignment, and support the transformation of services that meet the evolving needs of our community. You will manage the coordination and performance of key PCN programmes, ensure the effective use of resources, and maintain strong governance, financial oversight, and compliance.

Main duties of the job
Strategic Leadership & Development Support the Clinical Director and Board in shaping and delivering the PCNs long-term vision. Contribute to setting objectives and ensuring effective resource use. Identify and escalate workforce or operational issues early.
Operational Management Oversee daily PCN operations across practices. Manage HR, finance, compliance, H&S, and projects. Coordinate PCN meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and circulate documentation promptly.
Financial Management Support the Finance Manager to ensure strong financial governance. Manage payments and distributions per contracts. Monitor budgets, income, and cash flow; report regularly to the Board.
Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards (e.g., GDPR, FOI, CQC). Lead data collection and monitoring to support quality, compliance, and strategy. Submit accurate, timely returns to ICBs, NHSE, and others.
Quality Improvement Use data to drive service improvements and reduce health inequalities. Develop business cases and secure funding for pilots or enhancements.
Workforce & Training Lead PCN-wide workforce planning, optimising ARRS roles. Promote learning and development aligned with PCN goals. Foster an inclusive, supportive environment.
Stakeholder Engagement Act as liaison with practices, partners, and providers. Attend ICB and PCN forums, share insights, and maintain transparent, effective communication.
About us
Northolt Primary Care Network is an NHS Collaboration between 6 GP Practices Broadmead Surgery, Goodcare Practice, Jubilee Gardens Medical Centre, Somerset Medical Centre, West End Surgery & Yeading Medical Centre. We have a patient population of approximately 42,000 patients, and currently have 11 staff members working across the network. We have excellent relationships across the 6 practices and are working collaboratively to provide enhanced access services to address any inequalities and to provide great care to our patients.
