Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Homecare & Procurement Pharmacy Support Worker (Band 3) at Pinderfields Pharmacy. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative and operational delivery of homecare medication services, including processing authorised invoices, raising purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records using pharmacy systems such as CMM. You will be responsible for ensuring timely coordination with homecare providers, monitoring financial documentation, and escalating discrepancies where required. Additionally, you will be responsible for contributing to efficient service delivery while working under the supervision of the Specialist Pharmacy Technician Homecare Services and in line with Trust procedures.
Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will be responsible for facilitating procurement and accounts support activities by liaising with suppliers, internal departments, and finance teams to resolve queries and maintain continuity of supply. You will be responsible for assisting with stock-related processes, supporting contract monitoring, and contributing to the accuracy of financial workflows. You will be responsible for delivering training to staff where required, maintaining organised documentation systems, and providing operational cover across pharmacy services, including participation in rota duties and cross-departmental support as needed.
