Hours: 15 Hours p/w
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 8.30 to 16.30,this may vary depending on the timing of the training e.g 9am to 5pm
Pay Rates Day: £25.01 (exc Holiday Pay)

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic healthcare professional to join the dynamic clinical education team as a Resuscitation trainer delivering adult and paediatric resuscitation training, management of anaphylaxis, airway management and a recognition of the deteriorating patient. The scope of this role will be to train clinical and non-clinical staff as required at sites across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Assist the resuscitation lead with the interpretation of national guidelines for resuscitation training and to participate in the review and development of trust guidelines and policies linked with resuscitation.
Delivery of resuscitation training courses, including ABLS, PABLS and ILS level training provided across all staff groups and to ensure that training records are kept up to date using the trust training platform.
To assess resuscitation training to a set standard of competence and to plan and initiate appropriate support for those who are unable to achieve the required level of competence within the training session.
Manage and maintain teaching materials associated with resuscitation training including the maintenance of mannikins and other resuscitation training equipment. This also includes keeping the Trust Nexus pages up to date.
Maintain up to date clinical knowledge and skills, maintaining professional development for this role including relevant resuscitation training and also engage with internal and external training providers to ensure high quality service provision.
