Foundation Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and
knowledgeable Cardiac Physiologist to provide excellent care across the full
range of cardiac investigations.
All Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
Relevant Qualifications
Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
This is part of Regulation 22 and we want to ensure we give candidates the heads up to have their qualifications ready to prevent delays when we onboard at Trust ID stage.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities:
To
provide specialist and advanced assessment of cardiac devices within a range of
settings, at an independent practice level under the guidance of the Cardiac
Device Lead & Consultant Clinical Scientist. The individual uses discretion
to adjust plans and reprogram cardiac devices as the clinical situation/
patient needs change.
To
provide direct patient care during Cardiac Device procedures.
To
undertake a range of cardiac investigations within the scope of professional
practice.
To
monitor appropriateness of clinical referrals, selecting most appropriate
techniques to aid the clinical care pathway for the patient.
To
attend to patient needs and maintain the highest standards of patient care at
all times, ensuring comfort and dignity of patient during procedures.
To
report clinical findings to the appropriate clinical staff in accordance with
departmental protocol.
To
maintain high quality records and documentation.
To
provide advice and support to multidisciplinary personnel, this includes giving
advice which may influence patient care/outcomes.
Skills:
Up-to-date degree level knowledge of a range of invasive and non-invasive
cardiac physiology investigations.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to cardiac testing and research. Ability to monitor patients effectively during cardiac procedures. HCPC/AHCS/RCCP registered
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like R, Python, and SAS for research
purposes desired.
