Main duties of the job
The service provides complex care programmes for patients with diabetes, other high risk health conditions as well as patients requiring nail surgery and MSK podiatry. This role includes travelling to various clinic sites within the Trust therefore the candidates would be expected to be able to tend of variety of sites.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
To deliver high-quality, evidence-based podiatric care across community and acute multidisciplinary settings.

To independently assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of foot health conditions, including performing nail surgery under local anaesthetic.

To develop patient-centred treatment plans and provide foot health education to promote self-management and wellbeing.

To accurately record all patient interactions using the SystmOne clinical system, ensuring thorough and compliant documentation.

Collaborative in working with multidisciplinary teams and making appropriate internal and external referrals for ongoing care.

Committed to professional development, including supervising students and apprentices, maintaining HCPC registration, and completing all mandatory training.

- Degree or equivalent in podiatry
- HCPC Registration within Podiatry
- Post registration podiatry experience in Diabetes Care
- Demonstrate good organisation skills and ability to create accurate care plans
- Certificate of Local Anaesthesia
- Driving Licence and access of car
