Main duties of the job

Hertfordshire Community Trust (HCT) are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic OT to join the inpatient therapy team at Herts & Essex Hospital. Herts & Essex hospital is a 32 bedded unit based in Bishops Stortford and specialises in the rehabilitation of a variety of pathologies including falls, orthopaedics, general medical and amputees with

most patients following a 19-day rehab pathway.

You will work closely with a team of Physiotherapists, Ots and Rehabilitation Assistants as well as the wider MDT in the delivery of a rehabilitation package. You will provide skilled assessment and treatment sessions to support the individuals rehabilitation and discharge planning including equipment ordering. You may be required to undertake access visits to patients properties as part of the role.
